This bill clarifies that an owner of a firearm used as
collateral for a loan is allowed to reclaim the firearm without
committing the crime of transfer of a concealable firearm
without a permit.

This bill clarifies that an owner of a firearm used as
collateral for a loan is allowed to reclaim the firearm without
committing the crime of transfer of a concealable firearm
without a permit.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the current law needs to be
clarified to assure persons using firearms as a collateral for a
loan that they have not committed a crime.
