INTRODUCED

HB 174 -- Watercraft Regulation

Sponsor:  Liese

This bill prohibits the operation of motorboats with inboard
motors, motorboats with motors exceeding 100 horsepower, and
personal watercraft on any navigable river or stream within the
state except the Osage, Missouri, and Mississippi rivers.

Any person who violates this provision is guilty of a class A
misdemeanor.

This bill has an effective date of January 1, 2000.
