HB 143 -- Local Sales and Use Taxes Sponsor: Campbell This bill allows any city or county to exempt sales of certain food from local sales and use taxes by adoption of an ordinance of the local governing body. Food is defined as those food products subject to the reduced state sales and use tax rate.
