HB 1065 -- Certification of Electricians

Sponsor:  Green

This bill creates a 5-person Commission of Electrical Examiners
within the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.  The
commission is empowered to design examinations and grant 4 types
of certificates to engage in the electrical contracting
business:  electrical contractor; communications contractor;
limited elevator electrical contractor; and industrial
electrician.  The bill sets forth the certification application
process and requirements.
