HB 1018 -- Teacher Termination Hearings

This bill adds new provisions that apply to the Kansas City
School District to the section on teacher termination hearings.
In that district, hearings will be held by a 3-member
subcommittee of the school board, with a transcript presented to
the full board for their final determination, unless the
teacher, the person filing charges, or any board member requests
a hearing with the full board.
