FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) assumes the Route 66 State Park Easements do not result in a fiscal impact to their agency.

The city manager of the City of Maryville assumed the proposal would have no fiscal impact on the city.

The fiscal officer for the Northwest Missouri State University assumes the annexation of part of the university's property into the city limits of Maryville would have no fiscal impact on the university.

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.


DESCRIPTION

The act grants an easement to LeClede Gas for the construction of an eight-inch pipeline through Route 66 State Park. It also creates an easement for the City of Eureka through the Route 66 State Park. This proposal also allows the Governor to approve the annexation of three tracts of land of the Northwest Missouri State University into the City of Maryville, Missouri.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
