DESCRIPTION

This proposal allows parents and guardians the right to receive full autopsy results upon request when a child dies of "sudden infant death syndrome". In addition, this proposal requires fetal death reports to be included into the permanent official records of the system of vital statistics. Individuals with direct and tangible interests may also receive spontaneous fetal death reports.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
