DESCRIPTION

Currently, Section 311.485, RSMo, allows the Supervisor of Liquor Control to issue temporary permits to caterers and other persons who are licensed to sell liquor by the drink under the provisions of Chapter 311, RSMo. This temporary permit is for a particular function, but not for a festival as defined in Chapter 316, RSMo.

This proposal would allow caterers to sell Missouri- produced wines in the original package.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
