No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.

DESCRIPTION

This act prohibits any county official removed from office from running, being elected or appointed for county elective office for 8 years after his or her removal. Currently, a removed county official cannot be elected or appointed to fill the vacant seat from which they were removed.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
