DESCRIPTION

The proposed legislation would clarify Section 302.309, RSMo, by stating that a limited driving privilege cannot be issued after serving two years of a five year license denial or serving three years of a ten year license denial if the person is otherwise ineligible for a limited driving privilege. The act would also prohibit the granting of a limited driving privilege to anyone convicted of the crime of involuntary manslaughter while operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.

This proposal would not affect Total State Revenues.
