FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

The Department of Insurance and the Kansas City Housing Authority assume this proposal would not fiscally impact their agency.

The St. Louis Housing Authority and the Jefferson City Housing Authority did not respond to our fiscal impact request. Oversight assumes this proposal would not fiscally impact these agencies.

DESCRIPTION

This proposal would authorize any three or more political subdivisions to join together to provide, in addition to all other types of insurance, insurance for elderly or low-income housing in which they have an insurable interest.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
