AN ACT

To repeal section 301.301, RSMo Supp. 1998, relating to motor vehicle license plate replacement, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the same subject.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A.  Section 301.301, RSMo Supp. 1998, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 301.301, to read as follows:

301.301.  Any person replacing a stolen license plate or license plate tab may receive at no cost up to two license plates or license plate tabs per year when the application for the replacement plate or tab is accompanied with a police report that is corresponding with the stolen license plate or license plate tab.
