AN ACT

To authorize the conveyance of state property to the city of Farmington.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section 1.  The governor is hereby authorized to remise, release and forever quit claim the following described property to the city of Farmington, Missouri.  The property to be conveyed is more particularly described as follows:

A tract of land situated in the county of St. Francois and the state of Missouri, lying in part of Lot 84 of United States Survey 2969, Township 35 North, Range 5 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian, described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the most Western corner of Lot 3 of the Farmington Industrial Park - Plat 4, a subdivision filed for record in Plat book 16 at Page 18, the POINT OF BEGINNING of the tract herein described; thence North 0908'01" East 885.67' to a utility pole; thence North 0229'41" East 649.94' to a set No. 5 rebar on the South right-of-way line of Doubet Road; thence South 8233'42" East 1202.99' along said South right-of-way line to a set No. 5 rebar at the intersection of said South right-of-way line with the West right-of-way line of Perrine Road; thence leaving said South right-of-way line, South 0741'58" West 467.77' along said West right-of-way line to a found iron rod on the North line of Lot 1 of said Farmington Industrial Park - Plat 4; thence leaving said West right-of-way line, along the North boundary line of said Farmington Industrial Park - Plat 4 as follows: North 8318'37" West 39.54' to a found iron rod; thence South 0543'13" West 310.00' to a found iron rod; thence South 6357'11" West 557.83' to a found iron rod; thence

South 6357'11" West 400.00' to a found iron rod; thence South 6357'11" West 410.00' to the point of beginning.  Containing 30.32 acres, more or less.

Section 2.  Consideration for the conveyance shall be as negotiated by the parties.

Section 3.  The attorney general shall approve as to form the instrument of conveyance.
