SB 492 - This act exempts used manufactured homes from
certain sections of Chapter 700, RSMo. Under the act, no person
shall rent or sell any new manufactured home unless the new
manufactured home complies with the code. No person shall alter
any new manufactured home if the alteration would cause the
manufactured home to be in violation of the code. Under the act,
it is a misdemeanor to sell a new manufactured home that does not
bear the required seal. The Public Service Commission may remove
seals from any new manufactured home which violates the code.
