SB 480 - This act closes portions of hospital records and
meetings in certain situations. It provides that a governing
body, subsidiary, or lessee of a city, county, or district
hospital may close records or meetings that pertain to private
information about strategic planning or marketing or the terms
and conditions of certain contracts, including physician
contracts. Individuals who are denied access may petition the
circuit court to conduct a private review of the closed records
or meetings to determine if they were appropriately closed.
