SB 337 - Current law provides that the following individuals will be incompetent to testify as witnesses in certain situations: mentally incapacitated persons; certain children under ten years old unless they are the victims; attorneys; religious advisors; physicians; psychologists; and dentists. Professional counselors and clinical social workers are added by this act.
This act is similar to HB 570.
