SCS/SB 302 - This substitute allows grandparents and close
relatives aged fifty and older to receive assistance as foster
parents. Any close relative who receives assistance must,
however, be either a legal guardian or legal custodian of the
child or children, as granted by a court of competent
jurisdiction. This provision is contained in SB 387 (TAT).
