FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Economic Development assume this proposal would not fiscally impact their agencies.

FISCAL IMPACT - State Government FY 1999 FY 2000 FY 2001
(10 Mo.)
$0 $0 $0
FISCAL IMPACT - Local Government FY 1999 FY 2000 FY 2001
(10 Mo.)
$0 $0 $0
FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

Retail sellers of petroleum products would expect to be fiscally impacted to the extent that installation of any new petroleum tanks would have to meet the minimum requirements.

DESCRIPTION

This proposal would require that the rules of the Department of Agriculture shall require any retailer of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) to have a main storage tank in Missouri which holds

at least 18,000 gallons.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
