FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Coordinating Board For Higher Education (CBHE) state since the CBHE is not an institution referred to in the bill, and because the CBHE has no non-voting student representatives, the CBHE anticipates no fiscal impact.

Officials from Southwest Missouri State University, University of Missouri, Harris-Stowe State College, assume the proposal would have no fiscal impact on them.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.

DESCRIPTION

The proposal would allow student representatives to the board of curators of University of Missouri and Lincoln University and the board of regents of each educational institution referred to in section 174.020 to attend closed meetings of the board.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
