FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) assume the provision in Section 327.181, RSMo, that revises the coordination of services furnished by structural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineers and other consultants as they relate to engineering work would not apply to administrative coordination. Therefore, based on this assumption, DNR would not be fiscally impacted.

Officials from the Department of Transportation (DHT) and the Department of Economic Development-Division of Professional Registration (DPR) assume the proposed legislation would have no fiscal impact on their agencies.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.

DESCRIPTION

The proposed legislation would make various changes to the architects, professional engineers and professional land surveyor's law.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
