ASSUMPTION

Officials of the Office of State Courts Administrator assume this proposal would not fiscally impact their agency.

Officials from the Office of Prosecution Services (OPS) assume the proposed legislation could increased the workload of some county prosecutors; however, OPS assumes that any impact would be minimal and could be absorbed with existing resources

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.

DESCRIPTION

This act revises procedures for rehabilitating abandoned property for low and moderate income housing purposes. Only the owners of record shall be named as defendants (not all parties in interest).

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
