FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Coordinating Board For Higher Education assume that geographic requirements on board appointments would not have a fiscal impact on the CBHE. They assume the student representative's expenses could be covered with existing resources.

FISCAL IMPACT - Local Government FY 1999 FY 2000 FY 2001

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.

DESCRIPTION

The proposal would prohibit no more than one person appointed to the Board of Curators of Lincoln University from the same congressional district.

The student representative while attending meetings of the board would receive actual expenses paid out of ordinary revenues of the university.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
