SB 488 - This act extends, until June 30, 2000, the sunset date established by SB 146 in 1997 which authorizes the Special School District of St. Louis County to provide vocational education until no later than June 30, 1998.
The act also delays the termination date of the "Joint Committee on Career and Vocational Education in St. Louis County". The Committee shall review and monitor the status of career and vocational education in St. Louis County. The Joint Committee shall terminate on June 30, 2000.
The act contains an emergency clause.
