The Senate met pursuant to adjournment.
President Pro Tem McKenna in the Chair.
The Chaplain offered the following prayer:
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.
A quorum being established, the Senate proceeded with its business.
The Journal of the previous day was read and approved.

Senator Quick moved that the Senate proceed to the order of business of Vetoed Bills and that the calendar be called, which motion prevailed.
Senator Schneider moved that HS for SS for SB 97 be taken up, which motion prevailed.
Senator Schneider moved that HS for SS for SB 97 be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary.
President Wilson assumed the Chair.
Senator Staples raised the point of order that the motion to re-refer to committee is out of order, stating that the proper motion is "Shall the bill be passed, the Governor's veto thereto notwith-standing.".
The point of order was referred to the President Pro Tem, who ruled it well taken.
HS for SS for SB 97 was re-called and no motion was taken thereon.
SCS for SB 402 was called thereafter and no motion was taken thereon.
SB 128 was called thereafter and no motion was taken thereon.
CCS for HS for HCS for SB 142 was called thereafter and no motion was taken thereon.
HS for HCS for SS for SCS for SBs 386 and 372 was called thereafter and no motion was taken thereon.
RESOLUTIONS
Senator Quick offered the following resolution, which was read and adopted:
SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 6
BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate that the Secretary of Senate inform the House of Representatives that the Senate, having been duly convened as provided by Section 32, Article III of the Constitution, made no motion to override the Governor's vetoes of Conference Committee Substitute for House Committee Substitute for Senate Substitute for Senate Committee Substitute for Senate Bill No. 165; Senate Bill No. 353; Senate Committee Substitute for Senate Bill No. 402; Senate Bill No. 128; Conference Committee Substitute for House Substitute for House Committee Substitute for Senate Bill No. 142; House Substitute for Senate Substitute for Senate Bill No. 97 and House Substitute for House Committee Substitute for Senate Substitute for Senate Committee Substitute for Senate Bills Nos. 386 and 372 when the bills were so called by the President.
On motion of Senator Quick, the Senate adjourned sine die pursuant to the Constitution.
