SB 240 - Current law allows the Governor to reduce the allocation of appropriations to any department when there is a revenue shortfall during the fiscal year. This act provides that in such a case, any claim against a budget item so reduced shall be reduced proportionally regardless of the fiscal year in which the claim is received.
