SB 320 - Perfected Summary
- Perfected -

SB 320 - This act pertains to certification of geologists. Current law provides that to be certified as a "registered geologist", a person must complete an application, graduate from an approved course of study, show documentation of three years experience in geologic work and pass an exam covering the fundamentals, principles and practices of geology. A geologist- registrant in-training must satisfy all the above requirements except for length of service.

The bill provides that the exam required to become a geologist-registrant in-training will only cover fundamentals of geology, not principles and practices.
