SB 180 - This act sets time limits for disciplinary actions against professionals licensed by the State. These professionals include accountants, health care professionals, real estate brokers and agents, veterinarians, etc, licensed and regulated under Chapter 326 to Chapter 346, RSMo.

The act prohibits action against a licensed professional for violation of the law regulating their activities after five years from the date of the violation, except as provided in the act.

Exceptions are made for violations involving fraud and sexual misconduct, and violations involving a person under the age of eighteen may be pursued after that person reaches the age of eighteen, regardless of the time of the violation.

Actions pending with the Attorney General shall be filed by the Attorney General within two years of the effective date of the act.
