DESCRIPTION

This act revises the statute which authorized St. Charles County to form a
County Convention and Sports Facility Authority to conform to the
requirements of the Missouri Supreme Court, as articulated in Tillis v. City
of Branson. The act removes provisions which effectively limited its
application to St. Charles County.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
