This bill authorizes the Governor to convey property belonging
to Southwest Missouri State University to the City of
Springfield. The transaction will be done in a fee simple
absolute in consideration of real property of an equal value
located in Greene County.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that Southwest Missouri State
University acquired some property in the past that currently
does not fit in with its development plan.  The university just
wants to swap property with the City of Springfield.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Schilling; Southwest
Missouri State University; and the City of Springfield.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
