HB 0883 (Truly Agreed) Registration of Certain Offenders
Bill Summary

HB 883 - This act repeals the sex offender registration requirements from Chapter 566, RSMo, and reenacts these requirements in Chapter 589, RSMo, because certain offenders other than sex offenders shall be required to register.

NEW OFFENDERS INCLUDED: In addition to those offenders currently required to register with law enforcement, any offender convicted of: 1) kidnapping; 2) promoting prostitution; 3) incest; 4) child abuse; 5) use of a child in sexual performance; or 6) promoting sexual performance by a child, is required to register.
