HB 734 - This act modifies the date of General Municipal Election Day. Currently, the date is the first Tuesday in April. This act changes the date to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in April. This act also allows any county, city, town or village to hold an election on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in August, 1997, only.
