HB 0628 (Truly Agreed) Changing School District Boundaries; State Aid for Non- Resident Children of Employees
Bill Summary

HB 628 - This act changes the election petition process for redrawing school district boundaries. Currently, a petition may be made by ten percent of the voters in any affected district. The act requires that, for each affected district, the petition must be signed by at least ten percent of the voters voting for school board members in the last school election.

The child of any school district regular employee residing in another district may attend the employing district and be counted as an eligible pupil for state aid by the school district attended.
