HB 523 - This act allows Clay County and Jefferson County to create a road benefit district by submitting the question by resolution to qualified voters. Subject to voter approval, the county governing body shall be authorized to collect a levy in an amount not to exceed twenty cents per one hundred dollars assessed valuation for a "road district benefit fund" to be used within that district.
