HB 0386 (Truly Agreed) Allows Certain Cities And Counties to Prohibit and Remove Debris From Private Property, at Owner's Expense
Bill Summary

SCS/HB 386 - This act allows the governing body of any city, any charter county, and Clay and Platte counties to prohibit unsafe or unhealthy debris on property. Any such ordinance may also allow the building commissioner to remove the nuisance if the owner fails to do so after notice. The cost of the removal will be added to either the annual real estate tax bill or a special tax bill for the property. The tax bill shall be a personal debt against the property owner and shall be a lien on the property until paid.
