HB 0340 (Truly Agreed) Advisory Boards/Boards of Trustees for Sewer Districts
Bill Summary

HB 340 - Current law requires that, except in Jackson County, one of the five appointed trustees of a common sewer district be a member of the county governing body. This act removes this requirement.

Also, current law provides the board of trustees of a common sewer district may create an advisory board for the subdistrict. This act provides that the advisory board for the subdistrict shall consist of five members who shall each serve terms of two years.

The trustees shall not receive compensation, but are entitled to reimbursement for reasonable expenses.
