HB 0107 (Truly Agreed) Preference by the State to Purchase Products/Services of the Blind
Bill Summary

HB 107 - This act mandates that the Commissioner of Administration shall give a five-point bidding preference on products and services made by qualified nonprofit organizations for the blind and by sheltered workshops. The Commissioner of Administration shall establish regulations regarding standards and specifications as necessary. The State Auditor may, at the Commissioner's request, audit the records of any qualified nonprofit organization for the blind to determine the costs and the efficiency of production.
