FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

This proposal would not have a direct fiscal impact on small businesses.


DESCRIPTION

The proposal would prohibit the tattooing or body piercing of a minor without
written parental or guardian consent.  A violation would be a misdemeanor and
a fine of not more than $500.  Any subsequent violations within one year of
the initial violation would result in a fine of not less than $500 or more
than $1,000.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
