ASSUMPTION

Officials of the Missouri Police Chiefs' Association, Missouri Sheriffs'
Association, State Courts Administrator and Department of Public Safety's
Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri State Water Patrol, and Capitol
Police assume that this proposal would result in no fiscal impact to their
agencies.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of
this proposal.


DESCRIPTION

This proposal would exempt an off-duty peace officer and a peace officer
outside his/her jurisdiction from any criminal penalty for carrying a
concealed firearm.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
