Officials of the Department of Health (DOH), the Department of Social
Services (DOS), the Department of Insurance (INS), the Department of Public
Safety (DPS) - Missouri State Highway Patrol (MHP), the Department of
Transportation (DHT), the Office of Administration (OA), the Department of
Conservation (MDC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), the Department of
Mental Health (DMH), and the Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan (HCP)
assume this proposal would not fiscally impact their agencies.

DESCRIPTION

This proposal would prohibit "gag" clauses between health maintenance
organizations and providers of medical services.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
