ASSUMPTION

Officials of the Department of Public Safety - Missouri State Highway Patrol
assume that this proposal would have no fiscal impact to their agency.

Officials of the State Courts Administrator assume that after a period of
adjustment, there would not be a significant increase in the workload of the
courts.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business

This proposal would not directly impact small businesses.


DESCRIPTION

This proposal would prohibit any driver from operating a motor vehicle with a
sound amplification system which could be heard from a distance of 100 or
more feet.  Emergency vehicles, utilities, parades and special events would
be exempt.  Failure to comply with this proposal would be an infraction.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
