Current Bill Summary

SS/SB 432 - Local governments that have planning and zoning authority may establish uniform setback requirements and shall not discriminate against buildings used for religious purposes. No local government shall obstruct the construction of a religious institution if the zoning requirements are met. Conflicting ordinances are construed to favor church development.
