SB 182 - This act would make any direct or indirect recipient of any state appropriated family planning funds guilty of a misdemeanor if such recipient failed to meet the confidentiality of family planning records.

The Department of Health is to promulgate rules regarding the confidentiality of family planning records that are maintained by recipients of any funds appropriated to the Department for family planning services.

The Department may withhold payment of family planning funds for a fiscal year or in the succeeding fiscal year to any recipient who violates the rules. The withholding shall be in addition to any other remedy available to the Department by law and shall continue until the recipient complies with all the rules promulgated by the Department regarding the confidentiality of family planning records.
