Current Bill Summary

SCS/SB 5 - This act prohibits individuals under the age of 21 from entering or attempting to enter an excursion gambling boat and making or attempting to make a wager on an excursion gambling boat. Violation of the provision is punishable as a Class C misdemeanor.

The Missouri Gaming Commission is authorized to compile a "List of Excluded Persons". Any person barred by the Commission from entering an excursion gambling boat who then enters an excursion gambling boat or its adjacent facilities shall be guilty of a Class B misdemeanor.

The act prohibits any authority, city, county or urban redevelopment corporation from exercising the right of eminent domain or using general revenue funds to acquire real property for the purpose of locating an excursion gambling boat.

SA 1 TO SA 1 - REQUIRES THE MISSOURI GAMING COMMISSION TO ALLOW PASSENGERS TO BOARD EXCURSION GAMBLING BOATS WHILE THE BOATS ARE DOCKED AND ALLOWS ANY CITY OR COUNTY WHICH CURRENTLY ALLOWS EXCURSION GAMBLING BOATS TO VOTE TO CONTINUE OR DISCONTINUE THEM.
