                              FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

The following assumptions are based on agency responses for legislation
identical to this proposal.

The Joint Committee on Public Employee Retirement (JCPER) has reviewed this
proposal and has determined an actuarial study is not needed under the
provisions of section 105.660, subdivision (5).

Officials of the Missouri State Employees' Retirement System (MOSERS) assume
that this legislation would have no fiscal impact on the system.

Officials of the Highway and Transportation Employees' and Highway Patrol
Retirement System assume that this legislation would have no fiscal impact on
the system.

Officials of the Office of Administration indicate the proposal would have no
fiscal impact on their agency.

DESCRIPTION

This legislation would make technical changes regarding the additional $90
contribution for retired uniformed patrol officers in the Highway and
Transportation Employees' and Highway Patrol Retirement System.  It would
also make certain administrative changes relating to personnel in the
Missouri State Employees' Retirement System.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
