DESCRIPTION

This legislation would allow a bank organized under Missouri law or a
national bank whose home state is Missouri to merge with an out-of-state
bank. It would prohibit an out-of-state bank from acquiring a branch of a
bank organized under Missouri laws or a national bank whose home state is
Missouri without acquiring the bank.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
