After the formation of a hospital district, the hospital board of directors,
with the consent of the county commission, would be allowed to abolish the
six election districts and permit subsequent directors to be elected from the
hospital district at large.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
