ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Office of State Courts Administrator, the Department of
Public Safety (Missouri Highway Patrol), and the Department of Economic
Development (Professional Registration - Veterinary Board) assume the
proposed legislation would not have a fiscal impact on their respective
budgets.

The proposed legislation would remove penalty clauses for certain types of
animal neglect or abuse.
