AN ACT

To repeal section 301.330, RSMo 1994, relating to the display of information on commercial motor vehicles, and to enact one new section relating to the same subject.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Section 301.330, RSMo 1994, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 301.330, to read as follows:

301.330. Each commercial motor vehicle except those licensed under the provisions of section 301.057 or 301.058 based on a gross weight of [twelve] twenty-four thousand pounds or less and which are not regularly used for actual commercial purposes shall have displayed thereon in a conspicuous place:

(1) The name of the owner;

(2) The address from which the motor vehicle is operated or the number issued to a motor carrier by the division of transportation;

(3) Each local commercial vehicle in addition shall have displayed in a conspicuous place the word local .
