Current Bill Summary

SB 968 - The Highways and Transportation Commission shall make signs available on highway rights-of-way for any historical museum which is open on a regular basis and is located within 10 miles of the highway. The Commission may require reimbursement of the cost of the sign.

The Commission shall also take any action necessary to establish a fifth type of logo sign for "attractions". The logo sign program currently provides for gas, food, lodging and camping.
