SB 721 - This act amends language in Section 217.364, RSMo,
relating to treatment programs for drug offenders and nonviolent
offenders. Once the Department of Corrections notifies the Board
of Probation and Parole that an offender has successfully
completed a treatment program, the Board may release the offender
on parole. Under current law, the sentencing court could decline
to follow the Board's recommendation for parole.
